  • Hi Sonal,

That’s a great collection of quotes for the New Year. I’ll be glad to see the back of 2015, and I think that the New Year saying that best describes how I feel is this one from Neil Gaiman: “I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly, you’re doing something.”

    Thanks for sharing these.

      Hi Joy

Thanks for writing in. Yes this quote by Neil Gaiman is really meaningful. This is what we all should be doing. Another one that I like is “Tomorrow, is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Write a good one.” – Brad Paisley

Wish you and your family a very Happy New Year!

  • That’s quite a list you’ve gathered there Sonal. I don’t think I’ve seen so many awesome quotes in one place before. One that I like is “Tomorrow, is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Write a good one.” This is doing the rounds on Facebook and of course some have picked up on it because 2016 is a leap year and has 366 days. What will we do with the extra day?

  • Hi Sonal,
Loved the post. So appropriate, of course.
All these quotes get you thinking and everyone has their favorite.
Mine is the Oprah one about “another chance to get it right.”
So many people moan about the things they didn’t accomplish last year. It’s okay to reflect on that as long as it helps us figure out how to avoid the same mistakes, because really, the new year is also a whole new opportunity… to get it right 🙂

I love this and what it represents. We need to always look back so that we can learn the lessons from our past and then enjoy the future as it is meant to be… with an open mind and an open heart.
