I’m obsessed with apple cider vinegar….and rightly so. I believe it is the ultimate preventative medicine ever to be discovered. It is rich in lots of minerals, enzymes, and vitamins. It is also a very potent cure used to treat everything from diabetes to even stubborn hiccups! I stumbled upon it while searching for a cure to my persistent sinus infection and since then I’ve never looked back. What can I say… I LOVE everything about it.

One of the questions I frequently get about Apple cider vinegar is how I deal with the taste. As someone who is used to the finer things in life, I understand how the raw nature of apple cider vinegar can be a turn-off. At the beginning, I remember making some funny facial expressions before I eventually got used to it. Now I find its sour zing delicious!

For those who would like to avoid the initial awkward phase here are 2 great oil and sugar-free smoothie recipes guaranteed to make your apple cider vinegar drinking experience an enjoyable one.

  • Hi Sonal,

The title of this post caught my eye as I am a lover of Green smoothies, (I drink one every morning), but I had never thought about putting apple cider vinegar in them. I like the sound of the Kale and Apple Cider Vinegar Smoothie but I think I’d put less liquid in mine as I don’t like them too thin. There seems to be more substance to them when they are thicker. It’s best to remove the central stem from kale before using as they are very tough unless you can get hold of some baby kale. Pomegranate seeds seem to be getting a lot of publicity recently as they have innumerable health benefits but they are especially good for the heart.
